UT Austin streamlines financial aid process for students

The University of Texas at Austin makes it easier for students to apply for and obtain financial aid. The institution has moved from internal financial support to Oracle Student Financial Planning solution, part of the Oracle Student Cloudto automate financial aid activities and provide a better experience for students and administrators, according to a news release.

Oracle Student Financial Planning provides financial aid seekers with step-by-step guidance and provides a personalized view of funding options to help students get the financial aid that’s right for them. The technology automates 90% of the financial aid process, from determining eligibility, packaging and awarding aid to disbursements and reporting, the company said. It also provides administrators with real-time eligibility information to help guide students and provide personalized support.
